Zero: ...
I know it probably doesn't matter, but I'm kinda disappointed I neglected this. So just for my piece of mind and for everyone else's information (if they care)....
And yeah it's kinda late, I've been drinking, I'm tired, and my legs hurt from too much DDR. Random thoughts will reign...
Epilogue:First of all flying business class rules. First class was alright, but Kern's right; if you're flying on an MD-80, there's hardly any difference. But any-who, I had to mention that first. I think that's what made the trip home so cool. I hate long flights enough as is, but this one... well, I'll just keep it simple. Business class is the shit. \m/
Leaving Arlington wasn't that bad. I was able to get to big B on one final blackhawk flight. Well... technically two. I had a "layover" at another base before finally reaching Baghdad. The food was really good and I got in a few days of work. Not bad.
...It wasn't bad at all.
I will NEVER get tired of seeing blackhawks flying overhead. I miss it already.
I miss the free bottled water that could be found EVERYWHERE.
Given the choices of dying by enemy attack or a blackhawk crash, I would have picked the crash.
No more midnight MRE snacks. :-(
Do I regret it? Hell no. It's probably one of the best experiences I've ever had.
Am I glad that I'm finally done? Yes.
Do I have any immediate plans to ever go back? NO.Gone but Never Forgotten:

Resumption:
Yes, yes... I know. This post has come WAAAYYY too late. Oh well. What can I say? I started it as a draft and forgot about it. But I still think that it's a nice one to post.
But on to more important things...
As most of us know, Jason is leaving again for the Desert very soon. Dude, keep your head down, kick some ass, and stick with the Mambas. I wish you the best of luck and plenty of ammo.
