Obviously my powers are not as strong as they once were...

::puts on his robe and wizard hat::

Jason... Heed Kevin's warnings.
be on your guard at ALL times.
These Magical Goat people are NOT to be F'd with... they mean business.

As soon as you get off the plane, seek out the blue bow of Antioch that Kevin will be wearing,
once you have found the bow you must disrobe and tie yourself up in the remaining slack so that you and Kevin become and endless knot of Light and Truth!
If you and Kevin combine forces you just might survive long enough to get to the parking lot.
from there you are on your own -

  me: Jason

I to might might be there providing cover for the pickup, as we are being increasingly over run with the magical goat people, but have no fear I will be there and be wearing nothing but a blue bow as kern belives red may cause you to panic or something. Gerry you will be missing a wonerdous sight by not making it but when you come in Tim can give you a lap dance or something.
PS the stress is starting to get to BoB like a rabid pitbull and he might turn on you at anytime so be carful when handling him on vacation.

Jason AKA: [RT] NegativePwr: Bad News....

All,

I am sorry that Gerry and I have not blogged in quite sometime. There is an evolving situation in Iraq right now that we cannot elaborate on but I can say that traveling through the country has become increasingly dangerous for anyone on the road. I have been traveling for 4 days now flying as we can no longer drive. I have finally made it down to Kuwait and will be on time for my flight to Dallas tonight. However I have been in communication with Gerry through the military phone network and he is stuck on a US military base in Iraq and cannot get out. Where he is does not have internet or regular phones and there is no telling how long he could be stuck there. Just know that he is in a very safe area and when traveling resumes they will get him back to his site where he can begin planning his home leave. He will not however be accompanying me back to the states on this leave do to the situation. Sorry folks I am sure he will home soon possibly even before I leave or maybe when Kern goes home on leave. I will try to explain more when I get back to Dallas.

Gerry's parents (if you are reading)

Gerry asked me to post a message to you just to let you know that he is in a safe place and will not travel until current situation in his area is resolved and he will try to contact you the first chance he gets.

  El Feo Kern: PSA

For anyone that has one of my "@swbell.net" email addresses, go ahead and remove it from your list.
After six long years that free SBC employee account finally ran out.
I am amazed that it lasted as long as it did.

a moment of silence, please *sniff*

let us take a moment to remember some of my favorite swbell.net emails:

"DO YOU WANT BIGGER NUTS AND PENIS"

oh that was a good one, and this one

"Mort.gage rate5 n0w the l0west in 4000 years!!1!!1!!!!"

swbell.net email... i'm gonna miss ya bro.

  El Feo Kern: !!!DORK POST!!!

Interesting little quote i pulled from Bo's Page
Win XP tips-n-tricks (which if you check the URL it has "whistler" in the name)

"Windows XP -
A 64 bit upgrade to a 32-bit patch for a 16-bit GUI shell running on top of an 8-bit operating system written for a 4-bit processor by a 2-bit company who cannot stand 1 bit of competition (but it's better than a Mac)!"

El Feo Kern: dont do it Ashley

last week, when I picked Jason up from the flight line here,
I was wearin nothing but a red bow...
you know how hard it is to get the smell of MRE puke out of a red satin bow?
pretty hard, lemme tell ya.

needless to say the mans got some weird opposition to red bows...
kicks in the whole "Gagging reflex" thing.
so you might wanna try a blue one, but the safe bet is to

Ashley,

Not exactly sure on how long it will take. Everywhere I have travelled thus far there has been no problems and I have cruised right through. I have also heard from guys here that with our goverment ID that seems to speed things up a bit. Ultimately though I have no idea. If you wanna show up 15-20 minutes late it's cool with me.

Jason AKA: [RT] NegativePwr: Dreaming of MEXICO!!

MEXICO!!!!!!!
For some reason I have had craving for going to Mexico (Cancun) on one of my home leaves while I am here. Nothing like just hanging out on the beach being papmpered for 2 weeks....Anyway I just thought I would share that with everyone.
[RT]NegativePwr

  El Feo Kern: weather

yeah - we got a very light dust storm all through the night.
its pretty clear out now though

  Zero: Umm...

Umm... I don't really know what to say, so I just deleted the whole post all together. It was way too long anyway. Forget I ever wrote it.

Anyways, things are pretty good. Very busy... even more busy. It actually rained! No, really, I'm not BSing here. Hmm....ok, well maybe not really a full out rain... But it sprinkled for like 10 minutes. Heh, I didn't think it would happen this early but it was cool as $hit nonetheless!

  El Feo Kern: -

Damn Gerry, that Russian girl you've been seeing is a F'n Whore!
you can do better man... you can do better.
I even heard she had a thing for that Dolph fella

Jason AKA: [RT] NegativePwr: Russian Adventure

Ok first thing is first. Dolph Lundgren !!!!!!WTF!!!!!!
Now that I am past that.
I believe Kern has a good point. SHE WILL CLEAN YOU OUT.
Think about it. Ballerina in Russia....She can't make that much money if any at all.
She would live up the good life and drain your finances. Once they were gone she would leave you and move in with some snobby rich Plano guy that is already married. She will get pregnant by him and decide to have the baby. He will freak out and try to have her killed and she will have to run. 10 years down the road you could find her in some crummy YMCA with 4 children. The other 3 kids all have diffrent fathers and were attempts to get back to the "Good Life" but failed miserably because the fathers were actually crack dealers and did not give a shit about her or her kids and child support consists of keeping up her daily habbit of smoking 3 crack rocks a day. As for her kids.......She turns 2 or 3 tricks a night so she can buy them some simple toys to play with.

Not a pretty picture. This is what happens when you bring a beautiful girl from a totally diffrent place and set her loose in America.......

So gentlemen, just a reminder while over seas. Never take them home with you.

El Feo Kern: DEAR LORD! part DEUX

Adam, you notice those mysterious $100 withdrawals here and there?
you wake up one morning and OOP! where's your wallet?! and your keys!?!?!? the next thing you will exclaim is "HEY! WHERE THE F IS MY CAR?!?!"
wah wah wah wah ... double whammy!
you dont think she flew direct to hawaii do you?
no no... your sweet little rebound catch Petra has wiped your financial-ass too...

Thanks for playing - please come back tomorrow.

"she leaves a trail of honey , to show me where she's been..."

  El Feo Kern: DEAR LORD!

Damn Gerry -
good story, but what you didn't realize is that your "loving Petra" took the info off of your dog tags and wiped you financial-ass clean! Her and her family moved to Hawaii... Sorry bro, it's just how things go sometimes...

so is it worse that Gerry took all that time to write that... or that i took all that time to read it...

(I think it was worth the time, but STILL!)

  El Feo Kern: ...

Chase, I am honored that you feel i do not fit into any category.
you would have my vote, BUT
I do not agree with points 2, 6, and 7

2 - how could you possibly know where I live?... I have no home
6 - Negative Ghost Rider... Think of the D as being in International Waters (the cold inescapable void that it is).
7 - see #2

in conclusion - no vote
but you're the closest so far.

  me: Novels

Please stop writing the great american novels i way to lazy and have to short of an attention span to read them. Election- Vote for ME!!!!!!!!!!! and all civil issues will be handled by putting somone in a cage with monkeys or be shot in the head with a forty-five. Thats all no questions asked

  Zero: Moving On

Very well said, Ashley.
And Adam, I see your point and am glad you've found a candidate you agree with to vote for. However, many people here (including myself) will not vote this election and I don't think there's anything anyone can say to change that. Please don't take my rebuttals personally because they aren't.
In any case it was all good fun and a great discussion. To help get off the subject, here are a few pics of some of my recent travels.

"Hello. My name is Gerry and I'll be your tourguide today. Please do not deviate away from the tour or I will shoot you in the kneecap. Enjoy the tour."

Believe it or not, they say that the area of Iraq was the cradle of civilization. Many historical records and pre-historic evidence refer to "an area between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers" as the beginning of civilization.

These ruins were once the seat of a great empire centered at this location. It played an important role as one of the main hubs for the 'Silk Road' and was a center of trade for the region.

Unfortunately, not much can stand the test of time.

The guy on the left called me 'Jackie Chan'.... so I called him 'Abdul'. It's all good.

This concludes our tour for now. Hopefully I'll have more to follow soon.

Cлава к Oтечеству!!!

  El Feo Kern: OH DANG!

I havent checked, but i am almost 100% sure Ashley is dead on!
you DON'T have the right to vote ... for the president
you DO have the right to vote for people that will vote for you on who will be our next president.

how do i get off this rock?

  Zero: Re: ... (my opinion)

Excellent. Now on to level 3...

0.) "...So you don't like the candidates then vote for an independent..."

Well, that's easily answered with my before mentioned alternative 'a'. Both of my previously mentioned alternatives 'a' and 'b' to voting for republican or democrat cleary include voting. I believe that you may have concentrated your efforts on the wrong front here. Allow me to clarify: I do not have a problem with people that decide to vote. 'Just be prepared to fully support your candidate and accept responsibility for excercising your right to vote. If you can't do that, then you haven't made a responsible-clear-conscience-well-informed vote. That pretty much answers most of your arguement. That brings us to your three remaining points. The first one is:

1.) "...How does not voting prevent them from getting into office or solve that problem?...

It doesn't. But if you don't believe in either candidate and can't support them morally or politically, then would voting for "Stalin" or "Hitler" still right the concerns in your head? No, it doesn't. And unfortunately, you can't always win battles in one night. This means that whether you vote for "Stalin" or "Hitler" because you feel you have no other choice, you're still not voting for (and therefore changing) what you think is a better life for yourself, your family, friends, and future. Yes you could decide to vote indpendent or for any other party/person/thing not on the ballot, but is that also gonna keep them out of office? NO, IT DOESN'T. Sometimes you can't fix a broken system (or what you think is a broken system) by continuing to use the same system. You have to instigate change. There are a few ways of doing this. You could recreate the Bolshevik Revolution (not recommended). Or you could make a statement. Statements lead to ideas that help fuel future candidates and hopefulls into making new policy. My alternatives 'a', 'b', and 'c' are just SOME of the ways you can do that. There are of course more... you can write to congress and address your issues (good luck with that). You could even try to run for president ('not gonna happen). But again, you have to instigate change. And as I covered before, alternative 'c' DOES carry influence. Even if you think it's a passive action, you can't tell me that Mahatma Ghandi's passive resistance didn't lead to change in India (because it did). And to clarify and drive the point home, I will elaborate in the next point.

2.) "...I don’t believe that not voting is making your statement heard... ...Candidates will continue to focus their platforms on people or groups of people that are going to vote. Because it is a sure thing that they will vote, then waste time and energy on people who aren’t..."

I stated before that in some polls as much as 50% or more Americans have not voted. These are all potential votes for any candidate. Think about it... "I can't do anything about a vote that's already been cast... but I can influence the votes that haven't been cast yet." 50% is ALOT of votes... enough to win an election in some cases. Therefore, it is worth campaigning for and that is EXACTLY what candidates do. I may not agree with these candidates, but they're not stupid. They know that the 50+% non-voters are enough to win an election and they'd be stupid not to try and win them over... As I mentioned before, Mtv's Rock the Vote, public appearances on mainstream entertainment geared towards youth, and even debates at college universities and campuses are all proof of this. And (here comes the real shocker), it's a good thing. Why? Because our not-voting has caused the almighty political giant to fall to his knees and tailer his platform to better suit our wants and needs in order to gain our support. They know that '50 plus percent' of non-voters is more than the 'less than 50 percent' voters. It's simple math. So they WILL try for those non-voters knowing that a vote is not too late to save until it's been cast. And it gives us future candidates that we can better appreciate and, if we're lucky, finally vote for. He (the campaigning individual) can't win otherwise. If he didn't do this, then it would be up to who has more registered members (republicans or democrats) that determine who will win the election.

3.) "...Voting is making your view heard. V = BH (being heard)..."

I'm sorry, but I don't think this is necessarily true. Voting is contributing your support to someone elses view (ie. the guy running for office). Now, if your view and your candidate's views happen to be the same, then you've got it easy and you know who to vote for. But if your view is NOT the same, then you won't express your view by voting for someone elses.

In short:
- Voting is a choice that carry's your statement to the government either by voting for a campaigning individual, voting for and independent, or voting for someone not actively campaigning or even listed on the ballot.
- Not Voting is also a common statement shared by much of America that is starting to attract the attention of running candidates and the media. More people are disatisfied with the government and will not give their votes unless candidates change their stance and incorporate their wants and needs. Therefore, these same candidates are slowly changing and reaching out to these people. Non-voting individuals are in fact, invoking change whether they or anyone else believes it or not. You can't please everyone, but at least it will gives us a chance to finally vote for a candidate who is at least willing to try and meet us halfway. And so finally, this leads me to our conclusion:

"...if you do decide to not shoot at him, because you are unsure, that doesn't mean that he won't stop shooting at you..."

You're absolutely right. So what will I do? Vote for the guy shooting at me so he can kill me? I THINK NOT. No, I think I will shoot back and tell him to 'fuck off'. And I'll do that by either voting independent (alternative 'a'), voting for someone not on the ballot or actively running(alternative 'b'), or not vote at all (alternative 'c'). All three carry statements saying "I don't support you, so I will not vote for you. Voting for you or your bullshit counter-part are not the only choices I have. And it is my right to be heard some other way. "

I think I established my points clearly and have shown that not voting is a statement and a reasonable alternative if you can't make a responsible-clear-conscience-well-informed vote.

Good Luck,
Have Fun,
Remember That an AK Magazine Cannot Be Slapped In, It Has To Be Rocked In,

  El Feo Kern: YEAH!

WHAT GERRY SAID!... BIOTCH!!!
UHH! IN YOUR FACE!
(seriously, nice post Gerry)
I'm here to drop bombs!
Boom! shaka-laka-laka boom!
I got gold Teef!

next topic of debate:
wtf is wrong with Kern
and if he should he be allowed to vote
if he ever finds a candidate worth voting for.

side note:
I SWEAR to all that actually read my horrid posts, that i will do everything within my power to not pass on my genetic code...

while still being able to engage in sexual activities, of course.

Zero: Re: This is great (my opinion)

Yes, it is a good thing. I've definitely needed some exercise for my mind that's not IT related.
And so, here we go...
...again.

Good contention. However, here's what I have to say to some of your major points:

1.) "...look how many radicals we have, i feel that they have the power to sway ingorant people to their side and win the "popular vote." This is why i still believe in the electorial college."

Radicals, or not they are still American citizens. Most pay taxes and are considered equals in the eyes of the government and should therefore not be discriminated against for their "radical beliefs". They say "Justice is blind...". And justice is regarded as one of the highest principles of true republic democracy. A "radical's" choice or beliefs should not keep him from being cheated by an electoral college designed to "...keep out idiots". Law enforcement is the proper measure to keep everyone in check including "radicals". Therefore, everyone should be able to vote safely for what they believe in without fear of "...a radical setting their house on fire".

(On another note, the fathers of many great revolutions were all at one time considered "radicals" (including our fore-fathers). If they were allowed to vote or if their vote were listened to, then maybe they would not have had to resort to blood and war to make a change. Just food for thought...)

2.) "...said that he isn't voting for the "lesser of two evils," but i feel that you have to..."

And I say you don't. In an EXTREME example, if the choice is between Stalin and Hitler, would voting for the lesser evil be the right decision? NO. Now, I'm not saying that either Kerry or Bush are comparable to Stalin and Hitler... But if you happen to be an individual like Kern, myself, and many others who does not believe in either candidate or aren't able to morally support them, then voting for them WON'T solve the concerns you have. So what can you do? You can make a statement. There are many ways to do this. (Ah, and here is the heart of the discussion).

a) Vote independent: Umm, good luck on this. Like I said, no independent has ever even come close to winning a presidential election. BUT at least by doing this you will have excercised your voting right and you can feel better about yourself and having completed your civic duty.... even if it doesn't matter because ultimately your candidate won't win anyway. But it is still a statement to make.

b) Vote for someone/something not on the ballot: Heh, heh... Yeah, this is a statement all right... and not much else. It basically says, "I believe Mickey Mouse makes a better president than that republican/democrat piece of $hit." But again, you're exercising your right to vote and can feel better for yourself that you voted for someone/something that will never make office. But it's still a statement.

c) Don't vote: This is a touchy subject (as we all know). I believe it's not a question of whether not voting is wrong, but a question of why you're not voting and what kind of statement you are making. As I covered before, not voting can be a poweful alternative when compared to the above options. It is a statement, and it is listened to. The media, campaigning candidates, and other political hopefuls know that much of America does not vote. And because of that they actively try to change their platforms and political stance to gain the votes of that particular demographic (If more than 50% of the population does not vote, then that's 50% of the votes I can take to win this election). Whether you believe it or not, our not voting instigates changes within the political structure and minds of running candidates. I'd like to think that Mtv's Rock the Vote, Bill Clinton appearing on Mtv discussing his preference of boxers over briefs, and http://www.declareyourself.com/ are direct results of this. It is their effort to reach out to "America's non-voting-apathetic youth" in order to gain more votes. I could care less about the votes they gain by doing this, but at least they're trying to better tailer some of their political policies towards us. And if that inspires youth or any other age group to vote, than cool. It may just take us one step closer to finally voting because we now have a candidate we believe in.... and all because we did not vote. Imagine that? 'Congratulations on making a "difference". Or is is it?

"...They figured that anyone could sway their votes, and win the election by "popular vote."

Who's to say that Bush or Kerry are any different? Who's to say that they aren't just saying crap to win the election? Didn't President George H. Bush say "...read my lips: no new taxes!"? And what happened a few months later? Fucking taxes!!!
Ok, so we all know that you take a risk either way. But it brings me back to my original point. I believe in responsible-clear conscience-well informed voting. If I can't support my candidate morally and politically, then I can't/won't have a hand in giving him the highest office of the land. I will not pull the trigger if I am unsure of my target. And in doing so, I am making a statement that, regardless of what people may think, will be heard and will have an impact on future elections and the candidates that run in them.

Or, you could go with alternatives 'a' and 'b' listed above if it will make you feel better. At least then you got to vote. Either way there are gonna be many people who don't vote for either George "there are weapons of mass destruction in Iraq" Bush and John "I can't make up my fucking mind" Kerry.

Kern - You know I wouldn't make a good PR guy... I hate people. ;-)

  El Feo Kern: ...

ok , I vote Gerry for our PR guy!

  me: My Vote

I will not be casting my vote this year mainly because i have been to lazy to register and the gov. thinks i still live in plano, also who the fuck do think is going to win in texas anyway-not the fuckin hippie as kern so eliquently put it-so waste of time. and i wouldn't either of those in charge of an ant farm without proper supervision. but maybe some day i will run for president with the promise of WWIII and that all life on this worthless rock will come to a sudden end.

  El Feo Kern: wow

man - I was waiting for a flame, but instead i find that we have a similar group feeling on the matter... at least as far as the "RedTeam - OIF division" goes.

maybe we should start a website or something to try and promote these "radical" beliefs that presidential candidates should be required to be non self consumed, non personal agenda, non corrupt, non elite, non worthless, non finger pointing, non shit smearing, and just be plain human fucking beings BEFORE they get on the voting ballot.
accountability - where have you gone!?!
why have you left us?
*sigh*

Zero: Re: Ok Seriously (my opinion)

I see your point... and that's about it. I don't think anyone on this blog is going to change the other's mind... Which I think is cool. ;-)
All I'm saying is that voting is an arguably powerful freedom. I say 'arguably' only because everyone knows that the electoral vote is what matters... NOT the popular vote (doesn't sound too democratic, huh?). And if you're going to excersise that freedom I believe you should be ready to fully support your vote/candidate and be responsible for your hand in getting that person elected.

I personally, however, don't see a candidate on the ballot that is even remotely ready for my vote (IMO).

Voting in America is all about the alliances within the political structure. In this case the alliances are either republican or democrat. Voting for either of those two parties will help them, but what about the people who don't believe in either of their candidates? You can vote indpendent... But no independent (or anyone else not on the ballot or actively campaigning), has ever won a presidential election... umm.. except George Washington... but he didn't win a presidential election to become president. (BTW, he also was against political parties). The electoral college ensures that your vote won't make it past the polls if it's not apart of the majority anyway. Ok, well so what if he's not on ballot? I'll vote anyway. That still gets us nowhere (as people are fond of pointing out, Mickey Mouse and Elvis Presley have supposedly won several popular elections).

In short, if you decide you don't like either campaigning candidate (republican or democrat) and decide to vote for someone not on the ballot just for the sake of voting, then cool, it won't change a thing... and you don't get any brownie points for doing it either. But if it makes you feel better then I guess it's worth it. And if I decide I don't like either candidate and don't want to waste my time voting for someone not on the ballot, it still won't change a thing. But both of our choices will have a meaning and a statement regardless of whether you vote for someone not on the ballot, or don't vote at all. It's true. The media notices lacks in voting or voting for those not campaigning. As a result, more politicians and political hopefulls try to tailer their campaigns towards that demographic to try and gain more votes... and I respect that.

Now if you're one of those people who happen to like a campaigning republican or democrat, then cool: vote for them and be ready to stand by the decision you've made and support your candidate. 'Congratulations on making a "difference".

damn... that was pretty cool... let the flaming begin... this board needs some action!

Jason AKA: [RT] NegativePwr: RE: Voting

Hello All,

First off sorry it has been awhile since I have last posted. But, I have noticed we seem to have an interesting debate evolving here on the blog regarding voting. I intend on going to ballots while I am home on Nov 2nd. However I have to agree with Gerry and Kern on a few points. As far as the "Main" political parties go i.e. Republican and Democrat I cannot vote for either because I have issues with both candadites that cannot be ignored and I do not want to see either elected into office of president or any other political office for that matter. However I will attend the booths and perform my civic duty and vote. I will not be supporting either republican or democrat and I will cast a vote for someone that I know will probably not win but I believe if elected would follow through on what he campains for and would work to protect the constitution and not try to twist and warp it's words to fit their own personal agenda and personal feelings like some other canadites that are running. It is in my small way a protest against the main parties to try and send the message please stop putting corrupt self serving canadites on your ballot. Anyway.....it makes sense to me and for everyone else may be reading this may be thinking I am off my rocker but that is how I feel about the sittuation.

  Zero: I Concur (my opinion)

Very well said, Kern. I too will not vote this election. Don't get me wrong, I do believe in voting... but I also believe in responsible-clear-conscience voting. Voting just for the sake of voting is irresponsible. It's like giving everyone a loaded gun whether they need it or not. If I do not believe in either candidate, then I shouldn't feel compelled to pick the better of two evils. I'm not gonna blindly vote for someone I can't fully support and give them the highest office in the land.

On the flip-side, I was actually looking forward to voting for the first time... I still do. But then Wesley Clark dropped out. Fuck. Oh well, maybe next time.

  El Feo Kern: Got Votes?

I dislike how people automatically assume that if you dont run to the polls as soon as they open that YOU are apathetic, irresponsible, and/or the reason this country is going down the shitter
OR that by saying "My vote is made by not voting" that you're then Lazy or something of the like.
fuck that... I personally am NOT voting and i will continue to waive my right, as an american citizen, to vote EVERY SINGLE ELECTION until someone stands up to the podium that is not a complete waste of human flesh. ( I was actually going to vote for Clark... ya know - Mr. WWIII )

look at our 2 major options at this point.

Bush... wow, what a winner. I will admit, his speech classes are coming along well - I can now listen to one of his mindless wonderings on CNN and NOT want to throw up within the first five seconds (it takes about 3-4minutes now)

Kerry - ... fuckin hippie.

I'm going to vote for the first guy to NOT throw feces at the other candidate... constantly.
I want to see a person run for president and ONLY talk about what HE is going to do for America, not what bobo the wonder chimp is doing wrong during his term.

and dont hand me that crap "well, mud slinging is going to happen no matter who's running". IT DOES NOT HAVE TO HAPPEN. all the candidates are adults (i think) and It is their choice to sling mud... and i will vote for the guy that chooses not to.
aka - dont plan on seeing me at the polls... ever.

*sigh*

/personal rant - I'm done

El Feo Kern: WE HAVE A WINNER

someone give Kevin a cookie

A triangle can be comprised of three right angles only when it is on the surface of a sphere and/or some other similarly rounded surface.

If you draw it on a sphere. Ah must go back and pretend to work again.

  Zero: Follow up pics...

Some other pics I didn't get to last night... and my body's sore as a f*ck today.

Our rear guard.... the Flamingo's in the lead.

Chilling by the sideline.

Time out... Contemplating the next play.

'Wussed out and wouldn't play. We'll get her out there next time though...

That's pretty much it. All in all it was a cool time that was definitely needed. I look forward to the next game.

Anyway, all is well so far. Things are, for the most part, pretty quiet around here. It's also starting to cool down. I hear the rain here is a bitch, mud and more mud. But for me it's just one of those things that I don't think I'll believe until I see it. They say it even snowed here last year. During the rainy season, the landscape supposedly goes from barren desert wasteland to green and full of life (and mud). I don't know about all that, but it's something to look forward to. One thing's for sure though, the nights are definitely starting to get cold.

El Feo Kern: Question of the day

This question was posed to me the other day by one of the UXO guys here that is a high school math teacher back in the states.

Is it possible to have a triangle made up of three 90 degree angles?
and if so, how.

Oddly enough my primitive retard brain was able to figure this one out (dont worry, it only hurt for a few minutes afterwards)...
so you normal people should have a much easier time with it.

El Feo Kern: Thought of the day

"Steven Stack of Wayne State University and James Gundlach of Auburn University, for their 1992 report, "The Effect of Country Music on Suicide." The research of 49 metropolitan areas concluded "that the greater the airtime devoted to country music, the greater the white suicide rate."

that is all

Zero: Volleyball at "Club Jag". Hell Yeah!!!

Here are a few pics from what has been so far one of my best days here in the I-Rock...

Going for the save...

Yes, that is a pink flamingo... I swear it wasn't my idea.

Here's good old "Mike Charlie" setting up a serve to the other side... and the back of someone's lovely head.

Heh. And finally, a triumphant, hot, and sweaty me. It was fun.

  Anonymous: RE: Something interestin...

Although both articles make great points in regards to 9/11, like Kern said ".. many holes". I'm not sure if anyone else caught this (Jason I know you did, especially since you turned me on to this) but there was a video available at www.infowars.com done by Alex Jones called "9/11- Road to Tyranny" Alot of points that they make in these articles they make in this video. Definately worth the watch. It also fills a whole lot of the holes left by these articles. Although it doesnt cover anything of what happend to the pentagon building it does cover the world trade centers as well as the Oklahoma City bombing from many a year ago. Check it out.
